How to Draw Dr Stein From Soul Eater

Step 1.


Start off by sketching out the shape of Dr. Stein's face then draw in his long pointed bangs.

Step 2.


You will now draw out the mouth in the form of a grin, then draw the teeth and cigarette that is off to the left corner of his mouth. Add the bump under the bottom lip as well.

Step 3.


For this next step all you have to do is draw the large circles for each eye which is in the form of his eyeglasses. When that is done draw the triangle pointed nose, then draw the scar and stitches on his right cheek under the eye. Add the eyebrows    

Step 4.


Finish sketching out the shape of Dr. Stein's head and when you are done with that you can draw the bolt that is piercing through the side of his head. Add the thread detailing on the shaft of the bolt as well.

Step 5.


Next, draw the shape of his neck, then draw in the collar for the shirt. The shirt he wears is like a turtle neck.

Step 6.


For the last drawing step add the detailing to the collar, then draw a seam or stitch line right at the base of the neck. Draw the shoulders in the form of a doctors coat, then you are ready to erase the mistakes.

Step 7.


Here is Dr. Stein when you are all done. Now you can go ahead and color in this Soul Eater character that is known and loved, as well as hated.

Description: I know many of you love anime/manga so because of this I always have to fill requests that come in and here is one of those requests in tutorial form. Up next we will learn "how to draw Dr. Stein", step by step from the Soul Eater series. Doctor Franken Stein is the man responsible for turning Sid into a zombie. If you are familiar with Dr. Stein you should already know that he is indeed a mad scientist that is based on Mary Shelley's novel 'Frankenstein'. In the series he has a bolt that goes through his head, he has whitish gray colored hair and wears a pair of mirror style glasses. Dr. Stein is recognized by my ten year old sister and when I was getting ready to write out my description she said "oh my God, Dr. Stein". If she knows who he is, then all of you Soul Eater fans do too. Have fun drawing Dr. Stein folks and be sure to keep your tut requests coming in.
