How to Draw a Nun

Step 1.


Make the guide shapes for the head and body and guidelines for the face and arms.

Step 2.


Define the shape of the nun's face and draw the first part of the nun's headdress which is a wrap. Add the hint of the eyebrows too.

Step 3.


Using the facial guidelines draw out the nun's eyes and then her simple mouth and add some detailing to the wrap.

Step 4.


Draw in the nun's hood which is also called a 'veil'. You will then draw the arms too.

Step 5.


Lastly, draw the rest of the body which is a dress and then her hands locked together. Add the cross around her neck too and ripples at the base of the dress. Erase the mistakes if you made any.

Step 6.
