How to Draw a Nun

Make the guide shapes for the head and body and guidelines for the face and arms.

Define the shape of the nun's face and draw the first part of the nun's headdress which is a wrap. Add the hint of the eyebrows too.

Using the facial guidelines draw out the nun's eyes and then her simple mouth and add some detailing to the wrap.

Draw in the nun's hood which is also called a 'veil'. You will then draw the arms too.

Lastly, draw the rest of the body which is a dress and then her hands locked together. Add the cross around her neck too and ripples at the base of the dress. Erase the mistakes if you made any.

Here is something I have never done before and I don't know why because after all those awesome movies that contain nuns like Conjuring 1 and 2, The Nun, Annabelle, Creation of Annabelle and so many others. Anyways, I know there have been so many people ask me to make a lesson on how to draw a nun, step by step so here one is. Of course I am not going to depict a nun as being evil, because they are servants of God and the church they belong to. This simple to follow lesson will have you drawing a nun in just a few minutes. So let's get busy and if you feel you want to alter your drawing of a nun, go right ahead.
