How to Draw a Snake for Beginners

Just draw the shape of an almond (almost) for the head and the line for the neck.

Make the shape of the snake's eye and add a lid. Color in the pupil and add a mouth.

We will draw out the inner part of the ribs which happen when the cobar flares out. Along the middle is the shape of the snakes body.

Complete the snake's body (almost) as it relaxes at the base and coils in. Add the markings along the belly and create some definition on the tail too.

Finish off the snake with the slithering tongue and the tip of the tail. Erase the mistakes if you made any.

That is all there is to it when drawing a snake or a cobra snake. Just add some color to call it complete.

Description: Our next animal lesson will be on this slithering reptilre we know as the snake. I have made so many lessons on all kinds of snakes that it is hard for me to even count them all. But, what I know I didn't do is make a tutorial on how to draw a snake for beginners, step by step. So, the snake in the lesson is one of my favorite, the cobra. So let's tackle this badass snake so we can move on to something else.
