For the last drawing step all you need to do is draw out the cape, and then begin cleaning up your drawing to completion. You have done a wonderful job, so lets see how your Halloween dog should look when done.

Here is the clean looking line art when you are all done. Now you can choose what type of dog you want your drawn one to be by coloring in the markings. I hope you enjoyed this cute lesson on drawing a Halloween dog.

Description:
This lesson is going out to my German shepherd puppy that we added to our family September 12. We actually had to travel to the airport to pick her up because she came from Missouri. Her name is Sheba, and she is a bicolor GSD. She is wicked smart and has a lot of spunk and personality. Since the plan to take the pup out with us trick or treating, I thought that showing you how to draw a Halloween dog would be fun. As you know, Halloween is the time that folks scour the neighborhood for houses that want to pass out some yummy treats to little boys and girls. Since we take the time to dress up as our favorite characters and get courage to knock on the doors of strangers as they pass out candy, treats, and other stuff that folks deem worthy, its the least people can do to make their lives more exciting and fun. I know that the dog in the drawing looks like a Rottweiler, but it is in fact a German shepherd. The markings on the dog I drew is almost exactly what our pup looks like. I added the tan coloring around the snout just to break up the black. The truth is, all German shepherds except the white breed, has to have an all black snout. If I left the hat off the dog’s head you would see how it resembles a GSD. I know a lot of folks like dressing up their pets in costumes whether it be a cat, dog, or even bird. I just want you guys to enjoy this lesson as you draw a Halloween dog, step by step. I will return with other good stuff to tackle so stay put so you’re around to see what pops up next.
