In this first step all you have to do is draw a circle, then make a guideline for the facial guide.

2

Next, thicken the shape you just created for the head, and then draw another circle attached to the head shape for her pulled back bun.

3

Before drawing the face in, you will need to add the framing from the hair line. This same lining will also shape out an ear. Use the facial guide to draw and color in her eyes, add some lashes, then draw a small heart shape for the mouth and or lips

4

You will now draw the body and as you can see it is from the side. Start with the neck, then draw the slopped shape of the sleeve and or arm. Continue the lining until you have the rest of the body drawn. It should be done in the form of a dress and

5

Now add some detailing lines for the trimming of the kimono. You will then draw in the obi, which is the kimono sash and ball like object in back of her. Add detailing and erase the mistakes you may have made along the way.

Here is what your drawing looks like when you are all done. Color her in and you are all done.

Description: Here is something I really enjoyed creating because it is for my sister who loves Asian culture. She wanted so bad to make a geisha girl for a drawing she wanted to give to my brother but didn't know how to go about creating one. I told her that I would make a tutorial on "how to draw a geisha for kids", and then she can follow the lesson to help her draw one of her own. The geisha that I made came out great, although I think that I should have drawn her sleeves a bit lower and less rounded. Anyways, if you love drawing geisha, you will enjoy this lesson on drawing a geisha for kids. The tutorial is not only easy, it's also going to be fun and exciting. I will be back in a bit, there is still more fun coming your way.
