Step 1.
Like always, begin with a circle shape for the head of the alligator. You will then need to draw in the facial guidelines.

Step 2.
Carefully draw out the arches for the brows of the alligator, then draw in the snout. The lining should look crooked as you make the face shape for this baby animal.

Step 3.
Next, draw out the large shaped eyes that sink into the alligators cheeks, then draw the nostril holes as well as the bump at the top part of the nose.

Step 4.
Continue to work on the alligator's face or head by drawing out the bottom part of the jaw. Draw in the eyeballs, then color in the pupils. You will then need to finish the smile on it's face.

Draw in the ridged spikes up and down the back then color them in. Erase the mistakes as well as the guidelines you made in step one.

Description:
Alligators are awesome looking creatures because they are a species that resembles dinosaurs the most. The other baby animal that we will be tackling is the alligator. I haven't really done any lessons in a while based on this water dwelling species, but in the past I had a lot of fun drawing both crocodiles and alligators. It's funny how these two creatures look the same but are noticeably different. When making your alligator you can choose to draw only the top part of the body while the rest is in the water. I do think you will have fun drawing a baby alligator because these reptiles are always fun to create.
