Waning Crescent Moon Drawing, Step by Step

Step 1.


This will be a very simple lesson. You will begin by drawing a few guidelines which will be for the waning crescent moon, and the flow lining of the two clouds.

Step 2.


Using the guidelines from step one, go ahead and begin drawing out the crescent moon shape. This will be done in sections.

Step 3.


Finish drawing the moon phase shape which will technique be the second step. Once that is done draw in the first puffy shapes for the clouds that the moon is piercing through.

Step 4.


Continue on drawing the clouds and they should be in a playful or whimsical style. Finish the clouds and then begin to erase any mistakes as well as the guidelines.

Step 5.


Once you have a cleaned up piece of art, your drawing should look like the one you see before you now. Just add some color, have fun while doing so, and upload your finished drawing so others, and myself can see.

Here you will learn how to draw a waning crescent moon, step by step. Lots of lessons out there will have titles like draw a crescent moon, or draw a moon or even fool moon drawing. In all reality what the drawing should be called is exactly what moon phase is present. In this phase of the moon, it is called the waning crescent. The other phase is called a waxing crescent.
