Start off by drawing the guidelines and small shapes for the frame of the moon fairy.

2

Now you will use the head/face guide to draw in the profile of the fairy's face. This should include the eye, lips and the outlined formation of the ear. Once that is done draw in her hairstyle.

3

Next, draw the shape of her neck, and then the outline and formation of her body. This too will be drawn in a side view or profile angle. Draw in her clothes and create the boots. Add detailing to both the clothes and boots and then give her some fin

4

You will now draw in the wings. You can choose any style of wings you like or go with the wings I have created.

5

Simply draw out the star.

6

Now you can draw in the crescent moon along with the view of her other leg and foot. Erase the mistakes and guides as well to clean up the art.

7

That's it, you are all done. You could actually just color in the moon fairy a solid color to make it a silhouette, or color each individual piece separately.

Description: This next lesson is a concept that is seen almost everywhere and today I thought I would make a lesson that can show you how to draw a moon fairy, step by step. I don't think I've ever made a lesson on a moon fairy and moon fairies like to spend their time up in the night sky, just chillin out on the crescent moon. In this lesson I also included a small star just above her head which is a trailing star. This is the star she uses that enables her to go up to the moon. Almost like fairy dust, but for her it's star dust. I do hope you like the lesson. The coloring isn't that great because my Photoshop had expired and I used a different program for the coloring, but I do have my Photoshop back and all my newer lessons will have better coloring. Anyways, have fun drawing a moon fairy.
