How To Draw Tribal Flames

Step 1.


This first step like always will show you how to draw the beginning lining of the tribal flames. Right now they kinda look like a bunch of squiggly veins. But this is just the first step to understanding how to draw this symbol. Start by drawing one    

Step 2.


Now in this step which is now step 2 you are only going to focus on the top part of the tribal flames by drawing the actual body texture to them. You do this by drawing thick pointed edges and shapes. Some look like spears and some look like the top    

Step 3.


This step is step 3 and here what you are going to do is focus on drawing the bottom part of the tribal flame. Again draw the thickness of the flames with points and rounded tops like axes and spears. If you think about it you can actually see why th

This is the last step which consist of nothing at all. All that is left to do is color the tribal flame in. Now is the time to erase the guidelines that you drew in step one. All that is left now to do like I said is to color it in. This concludes th

Even though the names of these flames are called tribal flames, most people would think it is a design from ancient tribes of people that has been carried on for centuries now. Now, the design markings where often non uniform and they where not written down by any of the civilizations that applied them. So, what tattoo artistes did was invent their own designs based on the designs that where on the decomposed bodies of these great tribal leaders. As most of you may know tattoo that where applied back in the day found on ancient mummies, where not done the modern way as they are today, instead they used different types of tools like the tips of make shift knives or the tips of spears. Believe it or not they did in fact have tattoo artist back in the ancient days, and there designs where so uninformed that they decided to take these basic designs and develop them too suit there fashion. Tattoo artist of today take the traditional old tribal tattoo designs and turn them into new modern hip tattoos of today. Over time tattoo artist perfected each and every tribal tattoo design to a T. The most popular of all designs is in fact the tribal flames tattoo. It is an attractive addition to any man's body whether they are small, large, fit, or even out of shape. For some odd reason a tattoo on a man has such a luring capability that can’t be resisted by many woman. I for one love tattoos but I would never get any, weird huh. The next time you see a guy or a girl with a tribal flame tattoo, you will know the story behind it and almost feel that you know something that they don’t know, because nine times out of ten, people getting tribal tattoo have no idea what the meaning is behind them.
