Description: I wanted to draw some line art that amounted to something cool. I was looking through the tattoo section of the site and noticed that I didn’t have a tutorial on a certain tribal object. Because I wanted to fill this need right away, I decided to do a lesson on how to draw tribal dragon art step by step. Drawing tribal flames can be complicated sometimes and so can dragon art. I kind of got the inspiration of the design from the Mortal Kombat dragon that is used as an emblem. I did switch it up by adding some cool wings and a claw. It’s true, tribal tattoo art came from different islands ranging from Hawaii to Tahiti and with every island comes a different tribal style for the lining. Today one of the popular tribal design art consist of all black ink with an Asian twist. Dragons have become an ever growing phenomenon for tattooing.
