How to Draw Tare Panda, Tarepanda
1
Unlike the last three lessons I just submitted, this tutorial is going to be much shorter with the steps. Start by drawing out an oblong oval shape, and then connect it to a round body shape. Draw in a vertical like in the face.
2
Here you will draw out the head of Tarepanda in a shape that looks very much like a relaxed pillow. When you are done here you should have a jellybean shape for the head.
3
Now draw out the incredibly big round eyes, and then color them in leaving behind white pupils. Next, draw in a small slit for a nose, and then draw out the panda's ears.
4
Now all you have to do is draw out the small stubby arms, and then some of Tarepanda's back like so.
5
For the last drawing step, all you have to do is draw out the rest of Tarepanda's body and then draw in the back legs and little round tail. Erase the lines and shapes you drew in step one to clean up the drawing.

Description: I was asked to do a tutorial on a character that is extremely popular in Japan, and it can actually be compared to Hello Kitty here in the states. Even though this figure is not from any type of movie creation, it is a character that has merchandise made in its image. Today, I will be showing you all "how to draw Tarepanda", step by step. Tarepanda is known in Japan as the lazy panda bear that gets around by rolling all the time. It does this because it is so incredibly lazy, and instead of getting up to walk around on its four legs and feet, it would rather just chill out and roll from here to there. Tarepanda has a traveling speed of only about two miles an hour, and its appearance is very droopy, tired looking, and just plain old pillowy. In theory the creators of Tarepanda wanted to make sure that the design of this panda looked very soft to the touch. If you think about it, it sort of reminds me of a Pillow Pet. Anyways, this is going to be an extremely fun, and easy tutorial to follow. You will learn "how to draw Tarepanda" with ease just by following the simple steps. I hope you enjoy this tutorial on one of Japans most talked about pop culture characters.
