How to Draw Sparky, Sparky, Frankenweenie
1
Make two circles with the first being for the head of Sparky, and the second being for the body. Add a face guide and then move to step two.
2
Okay, draw out the front part of the head, and then draw out the long cone like snout and be sure that the nose has a point before coloring in the nose tip. Add a smile, and then you are ready to proceed on.
3
Finish drawing out the head by drawing the bottom jaw. Draw in his ears, and then move to step four. This is a very easy character to draw.
4
Using the one face guide begin drawing out the eyes and as you can see they are oblong or oval in shape. Draw in the eyeball, and then color in some pupils. Finish this step by drawing one scar on the nose, and then add the stitches on both the mouth
5
Now that Sparky's head and face is all drawn in, you can start drawing out his body. Begin with the front legs, and then some of the chest. Notice that there are folds or layers of skin over each leg. Finish by drawing out the paws and add some toes.
6
Draw the rest of Sparky s body out like so, and then be sure to draw the thing curled tail, and the legs too. Add the stitch lines at the thigh and move to step seven.
7
For the last step, draw the detailing line on the back and then draw in the collar or bolt that is sticking out from the neck. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Description: Over and over again I am always hit with requests that are for characters or figures that I have never even heard of before. That is the case with this next lesson. A member asked if I could make a lesson on "how to draw Sparky", step by step. If you are one of those people, like me, that don’t know who the heck sparky is, I will try and fill you in. He is a dog that is brought to life by his owner, and his owner is named Victor Frankenstein. You see, Victor is one of those kids that loves fiddling with making monster based movies. When his pet dog Sparky is hit by a car, he tries to bring him back to life but the end results is very ghoulish. Victor winds up bringing his dog back to life and what happens after that is unknown to me because I am not familiar with the story. Tim Burton is going to be directing the film and he is working with Walt Disney Pictures to get the project done. The movie is said to hit theaters in October of 2012, and like a lot of his projects it is also said to be dark, and eerie. The same people that worked on The Corpse Bride is also going to be working on Frankenweenie, which is the name of the movie. Frankenweenie is actually Tim Burton’s second adaptation of Frankenweenie with the first being from 1984. Like the original film, the new 2012 version will also be in black and white. I hope you like this drawing on "how to draw Sparky from Fankenweenie". I will be back in a bit with more drawing fun so stay tuned in to see what it’s going to be on.
