How to Draw Victor, Victor, Frankenweenie

1

Begin with a simple circle for the head, and then draw in the line for the torso, and the face guide.

2

As you can see the shape of Victor's face looks just like an acorn. Sketch out this shape and then you can move to step two. Make sure that the chin is pointed.

3

Okay, to give the appearance of deep sockets, you will draw out the shapes of the eyes first, and then add thick lines under the eyes. This is a common look for Tim Burton's creations. Next and lastly for this step, draw a small nose.

4

Okay, draw the thin eyebrows, and then color in two pupils, nose definition, and a saddened mouth.

5

Okay, next begin sketching out Victor's hairstyle which is wavy, and kind of parted to the right. Be sure that when you draw the hair you make some sharp tipped ends. Add detailing to the hair to give it a flowing texture.

6

All you have to do here is draw out Victor's neck, and then draw out the flaps for his shirt collar. There is really no complexity to drawing this simple concept character.

7

Now finish drawing out his torso and or shirt, and then be sure to give this character some long skinny arms. Begin erasing the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.

8

To finish off Victor, just draw the lining down the front of his shirt, and then add each button like so. When that is done add more hair detailing, and you are all done.

9

This is what the main star of Frankenweenie looks like when you are all done. Now you can go ahead and color him in. Even though I gave him some brown coloring hues, the movie is said to be in black and white.

Description: What would a lesson be if I didn’t submit the main character of the upcoming Tim Burton film, Frankenweenie? I had to go ahead and make a tutorial on "how to draw Victor", step by step. Victor is the main character of the film, and as I mentioned in Sparky’s description Victor is the one that likes to mess around with making monster movies. Now because he has this ghoulish imagination already, the idea to bring back Sparky was derived from the original story of Frankenstein. Like the good doctor in the original story, Victor too puts Sparky back together and lays him on a stretcher. The body of his best friend is then struck with a bolt of lightning and then brought back to life. What the consequences end up being once Victor performs such an act is still a mystery. I mean, I could actually find out what happens, but I don’t want to ruin the story for either you or I. Instead I will say that Frankenweenie is going to be another dark tale brought to life once again by Tim Burton’s dark creation team. The folks that worked with him on The Corpse Bride will lend their expertise as well with the character creation of the movie. Did I mention that almost all the voice actors in the film are going to be the very same ones that did Beetlejuice? It’s true, Catherine O’Hara, Wynona Ryder, Michael Keaton, and even Jeffery Jones who played Lidia’s father in Beetlejuice is joining Tim Burton’s team. I think that it will be a fun combination of voice actors to play each individual role that they are given. Anyways, have fun with learning "how to draw Victor Frankenstein", I know you ‘ll have a blast.
