How to Draw Samus

Step 2.

Now when drawing Samus, remember you are trying to draw out all the different shaped lines that make up her space suit. So you will be drawing in the detailed lines that do just that. Always start with the head and work your way down. Take your time

Step 3.

Again you will be drawing in more detailing lines. This time the lines will consist below the head which is the neck of the suit and then detail the shoulder by adding the lines you see there. You will also be drawing out her famous gun that is attac

As you can see the further you get with the steps the easier the drawing becomes. You will be drawing in the detailing definition lines on Samus's legs. All these lines that you detailed her space suit with, allows her suit to look like a cyborg. Don

Step 5.

For the last step you will first erase all the visible lines that you drew in step one to clean up your sketch. As you can see there is barely any you can notice. Just on the face and shoulders really. End this step by detailing the inside of the gun

Step 6.

Finally! This is what your Samus Aran from Metroid should look like when you are completely done. I know it was tough but if you took your time and you did it right you will end up with a killer drawing of this awesome looking Metroid character that

Description: Well boys and girls, ladies and gentlemen. For my last tutorial of the day I will be showing you how to draw another character that I grew up with which I played on my Nintendo. At first when I played this game I didn’t really like it. But then as I played on, the game got more and more interesting to me, I was led to believe that this game was in fact an addiction. I soon found myself playing this game day in and day out. Of course after the game was beat, I realized that I conquered absolutely nothing at all. The game I am talking about is Metroid. The character that I will be showing you how draw step by step is Samus Aran the main fighting character in the game. The beginning of the game starts off with a bounty hunter going to earth in a starship, as the ship lands, the bounty hunter is instructed by the Galactic Federation to complete missions. But while trying to complete the missions you have to kill the Space Pirates which are groups of aliens. The game was first realesed in 1987 for the first original Nintendo game console. Metroid is definitely on the top 10 list of best video games of all time. In fact I believe that it’s right up there with Mario, Donkey Kong and Zelda. To me all four of those games are the best. Metroid was an awesome adventure. Even though it came out well after I was born, my grandmother collected the console along with a ton of games. When ever she would babysit me I would sit in front of her television and play Metroid till I was blue in the face. Lucky me I didn’t have to share with any siblings because I am a lot older than they are, which basically means they weren’t even born yet. The character Samus Aran was wicked cool. For a long time I thought he was a cyborg because of the awesome suit he wears. It wasn’t till I was like 10 that I found out that Samus was in fact a girl. That's right, a girl. Samus was the bounty hunter all this time wearing a cybernetic power suit. This wasn’t just any suit though. The cybernetic suit allowed her to be equipped with a ton of advanced weaponry because of all the advanced technology was built right in. I love this character and when I found out that this character was in fact a girl, I loved her even more. Enough about what I think about Samus and the Metroid game, let’s get down to the nitty gritty, learning how to draw Samus Aran from Metroid. This tutorial will show you how to do just that step by step. I hope you enjoy, I had tough time in the beginning with her but the further I got in the drawing the easier it became. A member requested her too, but that was like a month or so ago. Anyway, enjoy and peace out people.
