How to Draw an Easy Pegasus

Step 1.


Start by making a circle for the head, and then add a connecting shape for the body like you see here. Lastly, draw in some facial guidelines.

Step 2.


Now you will start sketching out the shape of this easy Pegasus face, and head like so. When that is done start drawing out the body, and then draw the tail like so.

Step 3.


Here is where you will start sketching in the horses mane, and notice how I drew it hanging over the forehead for added cuteness. When that is done, you can go ahead and draw in the ears, eyes, and nostril holes. Lastly, draw out all the legs and inc   

Step 4.


Yes, you have made it to the last drawing step. All you need to do is finish drawing the eyes and mane, and then add some detailing on the hooves, and then draw out the flying wings like so. Once that is done erase the lines and shapes you drew in st   

Step 5.


Here it is guys, your finished drawing in an easy Pegasus. I hope you had fun as much as I did. Now you can color in your fantasy creature so you can proceed onto a new drawing challenge.

Description: Flying horses are one of my favorite things to draw especially the cute kind. Today I am going to start the tutorial day by uploading a lesson that is going to teach you "how to draw easy Pegasus", step by step. Drawing Pegasus is something I haven’t done in so long. I only have two flying horse submissions on the site, and since I haven’t drawn any fantasy creatures of Greek lore lately, I thought a nice tutorial on an easy way to draw this flying animal would be just great. One of the things I love about the finished art, is the background. I drew such a bright and sparkling setting for Pegasus, and the expression on her face really sets the mood for the type of path she is taking. I was inspired for this easy design of Pegasus from one of my kid sisters Barbie movies that she has. She was actually watching the movie in my room last night as I worked, and I happened to glance over and saw some of the cutest Pegasus horses around. Now I have the pleasure to show you "how to draw an easy Pegasus" too. I will be back in a bit with some other awesome lessons for you all to enjoy and learn from.
