How to Draw a Goth Girl with Crows

1

First thing we will do is draw the guidelines and shapes to create a workable frame for our goth girl. This should include three shapes and guidelines for the arms, legs and face.

2

Next, we will draw the profile of her face. Start with the forehead and then slowly move down to form the nose, lips and chin. Also some of the jawline as well.

3

Here you will then draw in her eye and eyebrow. Notice that the eye is semi open. Another words she is looking at the crow that is p[perched in her hand.

4

I wanted to create hair that was almost like the wing of a crow. So what I did was is draw out her long, stringy hair in a manner that it flows from the wind blowing forming a wing effect. Once you have drawn out her hair you can sketch in her ear. N

5

Now that her hair and face is all drawn in, you can start to move on down to drawing her body. Begin with the shape of her neck, then draw the shoulders, and left arm. Create the shape of her torso which is covered by a long sleeve shirt that hugs he

6

All you have to do here is draw in her right arm which is extended.

7

Now draw in her hand which is also palm open and extended.

8

In her hand draw a crow that is perched with wings extended. The crow is also crowing so the beak should be drawn in open. Color in the legs and feet of the crow and then draw another crow on her left shoulder.

9

The crows end up being more like silhouettes so color them both in leaving just a hollow spot for the eye.

10

We will continue with the girl by working on the lower half of her body. Draw in the hip and thigh as well as some of the calf. She is in a sitting pose so her leg is in a bent position.

11

We will now draw in her Gothic style calf high boots. They should look chunky and have some detailing to the boot as well.

12

Go ahead and draw in the other leg as well as her boot too. Again, add some definition to the boot and leg.

13

All that is left to do is to draw in the dark black laces that run up and down her boots. Once you are finished with that, you can start cleaning up your work by erasing the mistakes and guides.

14

Here she is all finished and ready to color in. I do hope you enjoyed drawing this concept creation of a Gothic girl and her crows. Don't forget to like, comment and share the tutorial and if you do draw her, upload your art so I can check it out.

Description: A quick break from the Addams family characters for a sec so I can upload this concept piece that I did the other day. This is a drawing that I whipped up while I couldn't sleep. I'm calling it, how to draw a Goth girl with crows, step by step. The crows are the only friends she has since she has no one else. She is an introvert and pretty much lives life alone by herself. Even though she looks saddened by her loneliness, she is actually pretty happy with her life. She has all she needs to survive and if one day someone comes along and shares her life with her, she will welcome that person with open arms and a crow for their shoulder. I had a lot of fun with this drawing. It brought me back to when I was a younger kid because back then I used to dress all in black and crows where the only birds I felt like I could relate too. I hope you enjoy this lesson. I will return with more Addams Family characters.
