How to Draw a High School Girl

Step 1.


Let's try and leave out the guides for now and just sketch out the high school girl's hairstyle. It's straight, long and sort of parted with bangs.

Step 2.


Once the hair is drawn in you can work on the face structure and or shape. Notice the face is sort of in a 3/4 angled view? Well that is so you can see her expression on her face. Once the face shape is drawn in you can draw the eyebrows, eyes, nose    

Step 3.


Simply add detailing to her hair like so and that is all you have to do here in this third step.

Step 4.


Okay, let's draw in her upper body starting with the back shape and torso. Once that is done you can draw in the shoulder and arm and then sketch in the wrinkles, crinkles and folds.

Step 5.


For your last drawing step all you have to do is draw in the rest of the arm you worked on in step four and then draw in the other arm which her chin is resting on. Add a bracelet and thigh. Erase whatever mistakes you made before leaving this step.

Step 6.


That's it you are all done. Now you can color in your drawing of a high school girl.

Description: Here is a lesson that goes out to all you girls out there that have started high school this year, or have been in high school and are still trying to endure your time there. Today I will be showing you all how to draw a high school girl, step by step. As you can see this girl is sitting by herself outside enjoying the night air. She could be out there thinking about a boy she has a crush on, or what she will do for a class project, or she just may be sitting out there because she feels like she doesn't belong anywhere but there. It's no surprise that high school is a tough and difficult time for young teenagers, but more so for girls. Girls have challenges that boys don't and some of them are well known to us young ladies. Dealing with competing with other girls in school, or not feeling pretty enough for others to like you, or just the fact that you are academically stable and people think of you as being a nerd or someone who is gross. Whatever the case may be, girls have an obligation to themselves and that is to stay strong, keep healthy and never go out of character just to fit in. If you follow these three main things, you should be okay. Yeah it will still be hard in school, but at least you know where you have to be to get where you want to go with your life. I do hope you high school girls out there enjoy this lesson. I will be back with other tuts so stay tuned in to see what requests pop up next.
