Description: Today at DragoArt.com, we will be learning how to draw a strong and powerful dragon called the Bird dragon. This large beast has the similar bright colors of a macaw. Its primary colors are red, blue, and yellow. I choose these colors because I wanted to base the bird side of the dragon with a macaw. Whenever I make different varieties of bird dragons, I tend to make their bird sides sorted by different bird species. In my drawings I like to mix them up to make them more interesting. As you can see the dragon’s habitat is in the forest. It took me time to figure out a nice habitat for this creature to fit in. My mom helped me decide an awesome background for this large colorful beast. I thought to myself, since this dragon has the bird side of a macaw, it should live in a rain forest, just like a macaw. So that’s exactly what I did. Anyways, let’s get into the details about our bird dragon. First off, this creature looks extremely evil. Indeed it is vicious and evil. It’s not like your average cute and cuddly macaw, this beast can whip up a fire. It eats plenty of meat a day. Its favorite food is humans! Yum sounds good to me…ahem, yeah right >.< Well, this dragon can grow to have an average wingspan of eighty feet long. It can grow up to twenty five feet high, bigger then a Tyrannosaurus. Its body length, including its tail is forty feet long. Bird dragons hangout in cool and shaded areas of the rain forest. They hunt in open areas too where they’re most likely to find their sweet treats which are humans. Occasionally these large beast feasts on pounds of fruit to fulfill their nutritious needs. I mean they can’t keep eating meat, it doesn’t fill those vitamins needed like D, C, A, and a whole bunch of vitamins from the alphabet. These dragons are sometimes attacked by the swift and vicious killers called the Sky Dragons. Their numbers have been cut down because of these foul and fast dragons. I personally adore the sky dragon; I love their ‘evilness’. Well that’s pretty much all I have to say about the Bird dragon. It took me two days literally to draw and color this thing. I spent a lot of time drawing the wings and coloring it. I try to make my tutorials the best of quality to suit your dragonish needs. I used my awesome program Adobe Photoshop CS and used my drawing Tablet. My normal tablet is an Intous3 6x12. Its pretty big, just the way I like it when I need to draw something amazing. Anyways, enjoy this wonderful tutorial. Oh yeah don’t forget, comments please.
