How to Draw Tribal Dragons
1
Okay, as you can see this is going to be a very simple step. You will start it by drawing a small shape for the head, and then draw the neck, and body guidelines like so. Next, draw the big starter line for the tribal wing.
2
Now that we have the wire framing drawn out for this tribal dragons design, you will begin drawing out the snout of the beast like so. At this stage, it looks more like teeth than anything else. When your dragon snout is drawn, move to step three.
3
Continue the lining from the snout to form the head, and fiery swirls that are on the dragons back neck. Draw more of the necks shape out, and then add an eye. The lining should be sharp, or full of edges like you see here.
4
Now it's time to draw the body of this tribal dragon. The end of the tail is nothing extravagant at all, instead it looks more like a hammer head. Once the body is drawn, you can sketch out the sharp looking arms, and hands.
5
Look what it's time for now. You will begin drawing out the top part or arm of the tribal dragons wing. The tip of the wing looks like a pick, and the base of the wing is unattached with a sharp tribal design in the middle.
6
Continue to draw out the shape or design of the wing. As you can see there is only two parts that make up a whole image. Add more wispy shapes at the base, and then erase the guidelines and shapes you drew in step one.

Description: Wow, I have such good lessons that I will be submitting today, and two of them are tribal related. I will start by showing you guys "how to draw tribal dragons", step by step. Instead of going out and doing a full blown dragon drawing, I thought it would be cool to just draw a dragon in tribal form. I already have two different types of tribal dragons, and if you look under the tattoo section you will see a bunch of various lessons on tribal tattoos. At first I was going to draw two of the same dragons doing some kind of crazy pose. But after that was a failed attempt, I tried drawing a sketch of one dragon body with two heads. At first that design looked cool, but I could tell it would make a very complex lesson to follow. After sitting for about five minutes, I came up with the sketch you see before you now. I have to tell you, if it wasn't for those two failed tribal designs, I wouldn't have conjured up this one that I'm making a tutorial out of. The lesson should be moderately easy to tackle, which means you too can draw tribal dragons of your own. What I like about this tribal dragon design, is the fact that it looks almost like a silhouette of a mighty dragon from the side view. One of my favorite things about this drawing, is the wings, they came out to be one of the highlights of the sketch. You can choose to do a different body pose if you don't like the simple design I drew. But if you want to stick with the lessons design 100%, than you should have no problems learning "how to draw tribal dragons", step by step. I have to get on outta here because there is still five more lessons that needs to be uploaded. I promise they will be cool. Peace out people, and have an awesome drawing day!
