How to Draw Mr Peanut

Begin with head and body guides like you see here. Add the limb guidelines and then the facial guidelines.

Use the body guides to draw out the shape of a peanut.

Draw in the signature top hat, then move around to step four.

For the facial guidelines draw in the one eye, then on the other side of the face you will draw in the monocle that Mr. Peanut is wearing. Add the indent lines on the right side of the body as well.

Draw the arms and then draw in the gloved hands.

Draw in the legs for this Planters star, then you can proceed to step seven.

We are almost done folks. All you have to do here is draw in the shoes or loafers, then add some solid color to the tips and the heels.

For the last drawing step draw out the cane and then color in the cane. Erase your guidelines and shapes, then you're done.

Here is the line art when you are all done. This is just a yellow shade that you need to add. Now you can show off your work.

Description: For those of you who like Planter's Peanuts or just peanuts in general, you will like this tut on how to draw Mr. Peanut, step by step. He is the official mascot for Planters which is a company from Kraft Foods. He is a sophisticated peanut man that wears a black top hat, black leggings, white gloves and a pair of white and black loafers. Mr. Peanut also has a cane that he often leans on to make his signature pose. Drawing Mr. Peanut isn't going to be hard at all so don't fret. I will return with more lessons folks so stay tuned in if you can.
