How to Draw Grookey, Pokemon Sword and Shield

Step 1.


Go ahead and make some guidelines and shapes to create a workable frame for Grookey.

Step 2.


You will begin to define the shape of Grookey's face shape and within the shape you can draw the muzzle shape where you will add the nostril holes and mouth.

Step 3.


Now you can use the facial guidelines to draw out the shapes of the eyes. Include the eyeballs and pupils too.

Step 4.


Grookey is coming along nicely. You will now draw in the ears and the lining around the eyes which sort of forms a mask like appearance.

Step 5.


Up next, we will continue to work on Grookey's head. Do this by drawing two leaf like shapes at the top of the head along with a stick or twig like shape between them. When that is done you can draw in more of the face which will complete the face co   

Step 6.


Now that Grookey's face is all done. We can work on the body. Start with the front legs or limbs and then draw the small hands. Also draw the chest and some of the belly too.

Step 7.


Lastly, draw in the back end of the body this should be the back arch and then the back leg and foot. Don't forget the tail too. Erase the mistakes and all the guides to clean up the drawing.

Step 8.


When you are done the line art should look like the drawing you see here. All you have to do now is color Grookey in.

Description: The next Pokemon that will be going up is another from Pokemon Sword and Shield. Here is how to draw Grookey, step by step. Grookey is a grass type Pokemon and looks a lot like an ape or gorilla. Even though Grookey is predominantly green, he does have a few other colors as well such as orange, brown and yellow. The resemblance of a chimp makes Grookey adorable, and if you have played Pokemon Sword and Shield you may have come across this Pokemon and made it your playable character.
