Artist: Dawn / September 25, 2011

Step 1.

Start out by making a perfect circle for the head. Draw in the face guide as well as a line for the neck.

Step 2.

Begin sketching out Scareface's hairstyle and be sure to draw out the bangs which are pointed pieces.

Step 3.

Sketch out the shape of the face like so, and then incorporate an ear. Sketch in some cheek detailing and inner ear definition too.

Step 4.

Draw out the very expressive eyes starting with the eyebrows. Thicken the brows black, and then draw out the shapes of the eyes, and eyeballs. Add the mouth and move to step five.

Step 5.

You are getting closer to the end of this tutorial. You will now draw in the body and as you can see the lines are straight, and very boxy. Draw in the collar for his suit jacket, and then draw in the sleeves, and barrel of the gun.

Step 6.

Draw out the legs and shoes like so, and then draw in the buttons, and jacket pocket. Add detailing to the gun, and begin erasing the lines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up the drawing.

Step 7.

Here is the line art for your chibi Scareface, now you can have a ton of fun coloring him in. Great work everyone!

Description: I said I was going to submit one of the chibi characters I made yesterday for today’s tutorial submission. Of course I had to do a chibi that actually makes a statement just by standing there. Here is the day that I show you "how to draw chibi Scarface", step by step. I have to say, this is probably one of my favorite chibi creations because he looks so bada**. I was going to draw him with his signature automatic assault riffle equipped with the grenade launcher and everything, but I had to remember to keep things simple so everyone could have the chance to draw one of their favorite characters from a movie classic. Choosing certain characteristics for a chibi version of Scarface was sort of difficult because he has so many facial expressions, and has so many different things that surround his personality. A lot of the stuff that Scarface is associated with is probably not suitable to draw in a lesson, so I left stuff like that out. Here is an awesome lesson either way on "how to draw chibi Scarface". I know you guys will love it, so have fun and come back to see what else I have for all of you. Adios people!
