How to Draw Chatterer from Hellraiser

Step 1.


In this first step you are going to draw out the shapes and guidelines to form a frame for Chatterer. First draw out the shape of his head which is in the form of an egg. Now draw a boxed shape for the torso. Now you are ready to draw out the guideli

Now here what you are going to do is draw out some of the features on the Cenobites face like his teeth and opened mouth. After you do that start sketching in the scared tissue that surrounds his face. After that start sketching out the attire that C

Now here is where you will start to get more detailed. The best thing to do is enlarge the image and look at all the detailing and and definition that needs to be sketched out. Starting with his face continue to sketch in the scare tissue and detail    

Step 4.


This is the last step where you will be drawing and sketching. Detail the face a bit more by sketching in more scar tissue and detail the leather suit that Chatterer wears. Detail the lining of the arms, and lower part of his waist. Finish drawing th

Description: Who is ready to get creeped out and have chills sent down your spine? Well to me the only thing that scared me out of all the movies I’ve seen was the Cenobites from the movie Hellraiser. Now this movie when it first came out back in 1987 was by far the bloodiest movie I have ever set my eyes on. After that I just feel in love with the main character which was Pinhead. I mean how cool is that character? Originally Hellraiser was a British horror film that was theme based on pain and how pain inflicts pleasure. The fears and pain that others experienced Pinhead got a sense of joy and gratification. His most famous saying was “I will tear your soul apart” the difference between the evil characters in Hellraiser opposed to many other horror flicks that contain scary evil killers like Jason, Michael Myers and Freddy Krueger, is Pinhead and his other demonic cenobites don’t kill out of revenge or because they are serial killers, they kill and take souls because they were the ones that opened the box which is a gate way to hell. The puzzle box is another interesting object in this movie because when the gateway to hell is opened; who ever opened the box will be tortured with flesh grabbing hooks connected by chains no matter where they are. A person could be in an alley way playing with the puzzle box and still be ripped apart by Pinhead and his cenobites. In the beginning there where only three main cenobites that accompanied Pinhead, there was Puzzle Guardian, Chatterer, and Female. Those were the three original characters that Pinhead had along side him and the scariest one was Chatterer. There are a total of 8 Hellraiser movies and there will probably be more. The more they make the stupider they get. The list for the complete collection is as follows; Hellraiser 1987, Hellbound: Hellraiser II 1988, Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth 1992, Hellraiser: Bloodline 1996, Hellraiser: Inferno 2000, Hellraiser: Hellseeker 2002, Hellraiser: Deader 2005, and Hellraiser: Hellworld 2005. The character I chose to draw was Chatterer, and Chatterer was a child of misery who seeked redemption from the Lament Configuration and only found the indulgence of pain. His solitude and misery will forever be accompanied by the echoes and sound of his chattering teeth. His signature weapon of choice is two hooks linked by a chain (which I left out). This tutorial will teach you how to draw Chatterer from Hellraiser step by step. The instructions are simple to read and follow. I hope you don’t get too scared after you are done drawing him out, and remember don’t open the box.
