Description: Who is ready to be scared out of their wits? Well in this tutorial I guarantee that you will not only be scared but creeped out as well. This next character that you will be learning to draw has been a part of many people’s childhood as well as mine due to the amount of films that has been realesed with him. The movie character that I am talking about is from the horror flick Child’s Play. So without further ado I welcome to all of you this tutorial on how to draw Chucky the killer doll from Child's Play. As you all know Chucky made his acting debut back in 1988. As the story line goes, there is this evil sinister guy named Charles Lee Ray which happens to be the “Lakeshore strangler”. In the movie he is being chased by a bunch of cops. He was eventually shot by a police officer who left him stumbling from his fatal wound. As he walks bleeding to death he goes into a toy store and collapses onto a pile of the popular child’s toy dolls made by a company called Good Guy Dolls, as he lays there bleeding knowing that he is going to die, he uses his voodoo magic to transfer his spirit into one of the dolls which happens to be a Chucky doll. This doll was later given to a small boy as a birthday gift that his mother bought from a person selling a Chucky doll in a back alley. She immediately grabbed the doll because they were sold out from the toy stores. Not only did she get her son the perfect gift, she also put her son in danger as well. When the little boy (who’s name is Andy) is surprised with his birthday gift, he instantly falls in love with his present. Not too long after being in their home Chucky starts revealing himself to the boy and because of this it is the body of Andy that Chucky or Ray must take over. He eventually starts killing again in an attempt to posses the child for his body. Chucky was killed in the first Child’s Play movie or so they thought. The Child’s Play series goes onto releasing four more series. The second one being in 1990 called Child’s Play 2, then another in 1991 called Child’s Play 3, then in 1998 Bride of Chucky was realesed, and finally in 2004 Seed of Chucky ended the movies series, but that is just for now. I like Chucky as a character and through all the Child’s Play movies he became more and more humorous and the movies became less gory. I have enjoyed the films since I was young and I know that you all will have a good time learning how to draw Chucky the killer doll which is a memorable character of all time. So make sure the light is on when drawing out this fun tutorial on Chucky from Child’s Play I used the most hideous looking version of Chucky for this sketch.
