How to Draw Michael Myers

Description: This is going to be another tutorial on a character from a seventies slasher film that virtually made Jamie Lee Curtis. The movie is Halloween and the character is Michael Myers. I thought to myself, “What would Halloween be without a drawing lesson to show you "how to draw Michael Myers" from Halloween”? So here he is and I know almost everyone is familiar with this character. The movie Halloween was a scary gore fest movie that had me on the edge of my seat the whole way through. Michael Myers is characterized as being pure evil in the flesh by critics and fans alike. The first Halloween (back in 1978) is about a six-year old boy named Michael who suddenly one evening snaps and kills his older sister Judith with a butcher knife. He is later brought to Smith's Grove Sanitarium where he will reside for fifteen years before he breaks out and returns back to his home town of Haddonfield Illinois. Once he is back in town he starts killing again and eventually meets up with a girl named Laurie Strode. Michael taunts Laurie because he for some reason wants her dead and he kills anyone that gets in his way or crosses his path. Michael Myers almost succeeds in killing Laurie but then was violently shot by his psychiatrist Dr. Loomis. Michael then falls over the second floor balcony to his death (or so we thought). Some speculate that the reason why Michael was so hell bent on finding Laurie was because she was his younger sister and he wanted to reunite with her because she was the one person in his family he cared for. Now I know in Halloween part II it is revealed that Laurie is his sister and at times you think that he genuinely cares for her but the psycho in him wants her dead. The series was first created by John Carpenter and Mike Myers is permanently burnt into the minds of kids and adults around the world as being the most feared characters from a horror flick of all time. The opening music to Halloween is so eerie that it literally makes your toes curl and your heart flicker. Michel Myers is most famous for his butcher knife and his creepy looking white faced red haired mask. Did you know that the original Mike Myers mask was a Halloween mask of William Shatner? Yes it’s true, the white blank looking mask was an altered mask found by Tommy Lee Wallace. He cut out the eyes, fuzzed up the red hair and spray painted the mask white. The result, a demented looking soulless face that screamed evil. This tutorial will show you how to draw Michael Myers step by step.
