How to Draw Jason Voorhees
1
Okay first off I used an image that I found online to use as a reference to sketch out my own version of Jason. So are you ready? Start by drawing a small circle for his head and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw a long straight line
2
Now that you have his frame drawn out you can move onto getting the rest of him sketched out as well. You will do that by adding the shapes and lines for his eyes and hockey mask lines. Then draw out the lining for his coat and shirt collar as well a
3
Are you getting scared yet? Good, you will now start drawing the holes on Jason's hockey mask and then finish off the shaping of his left sleeve. When you do this make sure that your lines include wrinkles and creases. Add some wrinkles to the front
4
Well you have made it to your last drawing step and all you have to do now is add some detailing and definition to Jason's body. You will first add the rest of the holes on his mask and then sketch out the lining of his jacket that is suppose to look

Description: Welcome to another frightening tutorial on DragoArt.com. I am your host Dragon_Queen and I will be giving you a drawing lesson on a very scary character from a very scary movie. He is deformed under his mask and he is seeking out revenge for the death of his mother and himself. So who is this mysterious character you ask? It is no one other than "chu chu chu, hah hah hah" Jason Voorhess. This tutorial that I am about to submit today is for all you horror movie lovers out there that absolutely love to be scared and grossed out. Halloween is tomorrow and I also wanted to submit a character that you will most likely see out there on those middle class streets filled with trick or treaters. If you are a kid or teen that takes part in celebrating Halloween, than I know you will love learning how to draw Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th and his mask. When I first watched Friday the 13th I was with my friend Lily, I must have been like twelve or thirteen. I was sleeping over her house and she asked me if I had ever watched that movie with the guy in the hockey mask? Of course I said no because I really didn’t, so naturally we watched it. It was the first “Friday the 13th” and I had no clue what I was in store for. The fact is, Jason is not the primary killer in part one it’s his mother. She goes on a killing spree because she wants revenge for the death of her son that she believes was the camp counselors fault. Oh by the way, the movie takes place at Camp Crystal Lake. Friday the 13th made a path to all future slasher films. Jason’s saga started in 1980 and ended in 2002 I think with “Jason X”. After I watched the first Friday the 13th I had to see the rest of the series. My favorite is the one with young Tommy who shaved his head to resemble Jason when he was a boy. Because of that bold move, he managed to kill Jason and he then was committed into a mental hospital, that was part three. Tommy was played by Corey Feldman and he did an awesome job even though he was just a kid. Jason Voorhees has taunted the minds and imaginations of adolescence and adults for years. He is a main character in many Haunted Houses like “Factory of Terror” and “Haunted Hay Ride”. There is a house in my neighborhood that makes a very cool homemade version of a haunted house and they have their sons dress up as Freddy, Jason and Michael Myers and chase you down the street after you get candy. This tutorial is in dedication to all those that enjoy the slasher flick the broke the mold. I will show you how to draw Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th step by step. I will be back with more Halloween dedicated lessons in a bit so stay tuned.
