Description: I thought it would only be right to submit another famous face that made American history. I showed you how to draw John Kennedy right? Well this time I am going to show you “how to draw Barack Obama", step by step. President Obama is the United States forty fourth president and this 2009 presidency put a page in the history books because he is the very first African American to become president. Barack comes from a one parent household leaving his mother and himself to fiend for himself when his Kenyan father went back to his home land. His father was later killed in a car accident and that is what left young Barack a fatherless child around teh age of ten. He was born on August 4, 1961 in Honolulu Hawaii. Both of his parents went to the University of of Hawaii. The couple later split and Barack's mother remarried an Indonesian oil manager and later moved to Jakarta when Barack was six. Seeing how poor it was in his new location he moved back to Hawaii to live with his grandparents in a small apartment. All though Obama was half white, he still found racism inescapable on his part. He attended Columbia University which is where he experienced the snickering, back talking and hard stares. But that didn't stop him from going after what he wanted out of life, for three years he was a community organizer for a Chicago church group and it was then when he started helping out individuals that lived in a poor South Side residential area that was experiencing the hardships from multiple plant closings. Barack Obama eventually attended Harvard Law School and practiced civil rights law. His main goal was to help unfortunate individuals that were discriminated against for employment and housing opportunities. It was in 2004 when Barack Obama was elected to the U.S. Senate as a Democrat for Illinois. In 2008 he ran for presidency and won the position and became the United States first African American president making him America's 44th president. This tutorial is going to show you how to draw a man that made American history because the people chose him to guide their country to be a better place than what it is today. Barack Obama has been compared to JFK because they have a few things in common. One being they both are almost the same age when taking their seat as president, they hold the same views for the future of the country, they both have or had young children living in the White House. I hope you guys like this educational tutorial on "how to draw Barack Obama", step by step. I have to go yet again but I will return with more drawing fun.
