How to Draw the Jonas Brothers

Step 1.


What I want you to do first is draw out three circles for the Jonas Brothers heads. next draw in the facial guidelines and then sketch out the shapes of their necks and shirt collars.

Step 2.


In this step you will sketch out the lower portion of their faces which is the cheeks, jaws and chins. Once that is done sketch in all three Jonas noses as well as their mouth and ear lines and shapes.

Step 3.


Step three is relatively easy. What you will do next is sketch out the shape of the Jonas Brothers eyes and then add their pupils as well as color or shade them in. Next finish off the lining to their mouths to make them look full and vibrant. You wi

Well you have finally made it to step four which means you are following the step by step instructions and doing a great job. Next you will start sketching out their hair style starting with young Nick Jonas. Since he has curly hair you will sketch o   

Step 5.


Finish sketching out Nick Jonas's curly locks as you see them here and make sure there is plenty of definition and detail to his hair style. Next finish off Kevin Jonas's hair style as well and then sketch out the rest of their clothing detailing and   

Step 6.


This is your last drawing step and as you can see all you have to do is the shading. But before you get started with shading in the Jonas Brothers, you have to erase all the visible guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Step 7.

Well if you guess three brothers that vary in age and looks you guessed right. This tutorial is going to show you how to draw the Jonas Brothers step by step. If you are a fan of these three boys, you already know that they are very talented and very popular. The band is what you call an American boy band of today that play mainly pop music that appeal to young teenaged girls. The members of the band are; Joe Jonas, Kevin Jonas, and Nick Jonas. The two most popular brothers are Nick and Joe Jonas. Joe Jonas is the one that has the dark features; dark hair, dark eyes and nicely groomed eyebrows. Joe also plays the tambourine and guitar as well as vocals. Oh, and he is about twenty years old now. Nick Jonas is the youngest out of the three and he is the one with the brown curly hair and a very young looking baby face which makes sense seeing how he is only sixteen years old. Almost making his appearance a little too innocent. As for Kevin Jonas, lets just say that he stays in the background. I think it's because he is twenty two years old and all the girls that are into the band are still in their teens. The Jonas brothers gained their fame and popularity after the Disney move “Camp Rock” was released back in 2007. After the movie they cut a soundtrack from the movie which included all the songs sung by the three brothers and their co-star Demi Lovato. They have also shared the stage with Taylor Swift, and Hanna Montana or Miley Cyrus. The Jonas Brothers also started in the very funny Saturday Night Live back in February of 2009 which I happened to watch. I gotta tell ya, they weren't that bad. I liked the skit when they were supposed to be these really old performers from years ago that never ever age. It was hilarious. The one weird thing that I find about the three brothers is that they all look exceptionally different from each other. It's like you can tell they are related but not in a brotherly way. Maybe it's from their heritage background. I think I read somewhere that they are Italian, Irish, German and Cherokee Indian, which is cool because they have traits of all strong nationalities. One of the songs that made it to the top charts when they started getting famous was “ When You Look Me in the Eyes”. Now, I'm not saying that I like their music, I'm just saying it's tolerable to listen to. Especially when my sister blast them on the radio. Anyways this sketch took me four hours and I hope that you guys will have fun learning how to draw the Jonas Brothers step by step. If you want, you can even just draw your favorite out of the three. I'm sure learning how to draw Joe Jonas or Nick Jonas won't be a problem as long as you follow the steps. Even learning how to draw Kevin Jonas should be easy, who knows just give it a try!
