How to Draw an Elite, Draw a Sanghelli
1
Let's start shall we? Begin by making two circle shapes, one for the head, and the other for the body or the upper part of the body.
2
Now here you will begin drawing out the guidelines for the limbs which is the arms, legs, and hands.
3
Now that you have the guidelines and shapes drawn in which forms the base of the Elite, you can now sketch out the top portion of the head which is an armor helmet.
4
Begin drawing out the horns on the top of the head, and along the sides of the head like you see here. Add in the detailing to the forward facing part of the head like you see here.
5
Now sketch in the jaw portion of the Elite being. This sort of looks like the mouth of an ant or another similar insect. Be sure to add the detailing shapes and lines to make the head part of the Elite almost complete.
6
All you will do in step six is finish drawing out the rest of the jaw line and face like you see here. Before leaving this step, all you need to do is sketch in the detailing and definition along the lining of the helmet.
7
This is when the lesson becomes a bit more challenging. To start, you will be drawing out the armor that Elites wear. Draw in the edgy shoulders, and two part chest or torso plating. When that is done you can draw in the armor plate for the thigh or
8
Now, to make the armor look like it's detailed, beveled, and embossed, you will need to carefully and slowly sketch in the detailing lines that will give the torso armor it's texture and definition. The best way to start is to begin with the shoulder
9
Now it's time to draw out the long muscular arms like so. When this part of the lesson is done you can draw in the hands, and fingers. Don't forget to add the spikes on the right forearm armor like you see here.
10
Okay, add some detailing to the arms like you see here, and then you will have to draw in one of the many weapons that Elites carry or use during battle. This Elite happens to be using and holding an energy sword and as you can see it's a very simple
11
Sketch out the rest of Elite's hand like so, and then begin the process of sketching out the legs in detail, and then add some definition.
12
Okay you are now almost done with this lesson on how to draw an Elite. All you have to do now is draw in more of the legs like so, and then be sure to sketch out all the detailing lines that covers the thigh of the Elite. You are almost done. Finally
13
This step will enable you to complete the character design of an Elite. Just draw in the rest of the legs, and the big clunky feet which only has two toes. Draw in the shin detailing, and then move to step fourteen.
14
For the final drawing step, add in the last minute detailing and definition on the feet. Erase the visible guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Description: Okay guys, I know I haven’t uploaded anything related to the new Halo game that came out a while back. Today I will be submitting a lesson that is going to be on a very cool species of alien. The idea to do such a lesson came from the many members that requested I make a tutorial that can show you "how to draw an Elite", step by step. These alien species are really called “The Sanghelli” and they are known in the Halo world to be a strong race of warriors that are incredibly skilled in combat, and other tactics. It is the humans that label these beings as Elite and it’s mainly due to the fact they are highly skilled combatants. Elites come from their home planet of Sanghelios, and it is there that they formed the military force of the Covenant. Elites are described as being tall and fully equipped with superior armor including a helmet. They have two fingers and two thumbs on each hand, and because their hands are significantly larger than the human hand, they sort of look gigantic when they make human weapons. Elites are said to look a lot like lizards without their display of armor, but when they are fully suited they look almost like sharks. Not only do the Sanghelli have awesome combat ability, they are also known for their brute strength. I had fun making this character or figure, and when I was done making the tutorial my eleven year old brother went ballistic. He has three sets of the Halo Lego series, and the Elite is included in one of the sets. You will enjoy learning "how to draw an Elite", and I know the tutorial may seem long, bit if you just take your time you will be successful at creating something great. Peace out people!
