How to Draw a Tribal Rose Tattoo

Start with a bulb shape then draw the stem line.

Here you will begin drawing the first tribal design or part of the rose that is made starting at the top. If you would like to start the process using your own technique you can do that as well.

Next, begin drawing the inside swirl of the tribal rose. When you do this make sure the edge lining is sharp and has points.

Draw the left side of the rose which is the outside pedal. Color in this large piece solid, then move to step five.

Draw the right side of the flower which is the outer single pedal. Color it in as well.

You are almost done folks. All you have to do now is draw the leaves that make up the bedding, then color in the leaves.

Lastly, draw and color the stem of the rose. You will be done with this lesson after you erase the mistakes and guides.

Here is the final outcome once you are all done. Color in the rose using any shade you like or keep it all black.

What I like about this lesson is how easy it's going to be to replicate the tribal design you see. The rose is not in full bloom, but it is in a simple closed pedal form. The shapes of each section are joined together nicely which makes the tribal rose an awesome pick for a tattoo.
