Here just draw a large circle for your moon.

Now that the moon is drawn out, you can begin sketching out t he wispy looking clouds which are small but puffy.

Next and lastly, draw in the crater shapes on the surface of the moon. If you made any mistakes erase them now.

Here is what the line art looks like when you are done. Color in your moon and that's it.

Description: Another Halloween submission coming your way is going to be on "how to draw a Halloween moon", step by step. Although in all reality the moon on Halloween hasn't appeared like this to me ever in my lifetime, but you never know. Anyways, this will make a great lesson to follow if you're looking for a great moon to draw for a background. Well, I guess that's it for this description on yet another moon tutorial to add to the books. I will return because there is still more submissions to get uploaded.
