How to Draw a Chibi Cat

Step 1.


The first thing you will do is draw an oval circle for his head and then add the facial guidelines. Next draw a large egg shape for the body. After you do that you can then draw out the guidelines for his/her tail, front legs and paws, ears, and hind   

Step 2.


The next thing you will do in this step is draw the shape of his large pointed ears. Next make the outlines for his eyes, nose, and mouth. After that is done draw the Chibi cats puffy tail and then shape out the back part of the body a bit. After you   

Step 3.


Next draw out the rest of the lining for the eyes and then fluff up his cheeks with fur. Give him some whiskers and then draw the shape of his front leg and chest. The next thing to do is draw out the hind foot and more lining for the container of mi   

Step 4.


This is the last step so what you will do first is erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one. Next color in the pupils and detail the insides of his/her ears. two eyebrows above the Chibi cats eyes and all that is left to do is de   

Step 5.

Description: Howdy partners, and welcome back to DragoArt.com. In this next tutorial I thought I would take a break from the Final Fantasy characters and draw something cute and cuddly. So what I have for you all now is a tutorial on how to draw a Chibi cat. How many of you out there own a cat? I’m sitting here raising my hand because I own a cat myself. Now of course my cat looks nothing like the one I will be showing you all how to draw today, but he is cute all the same. Cats are a fun pet to have around the house because they act crazy and you can have fun with them by giving them a toy mouse or maybe even some catnip. The one thing I truly hate about owning a cat is having to look at a litter box, and how cats are not really known to be a loyal pet. They really only stick around because you feed them. They are nothing like a dog. At least dogs are loyal and they truly are mans best friend. But my cat Boots is pretty weird. My sister actually taught him the “lay down” command. How weird is that? He also runs down the stairs when he hears someone at the door, and he also runs after you when you are walking around. I guess cats sometimes have their “good qualities” but it’s not often that you find a cat that doesn’t get on your nerves. In this tutorial you will learn how to draw a Chibi cat step by step. This tutorial is so simple to learn from and you will have fun while you are drawing him/her too. I find it is always nice to draw something cute once in a while.
