How to Draw a Burning Skull Candle
1
Draw a circle shape for the skull head and then draw a sword tip shape for the jaw of the skull. You will then add the facial guidelines and then draw a long vertical line for the candle.
2
Next you can sketch out the shape of the eyes and then color them in as well. Draw the brow lines and then sketch in some dark lines for the sides of the nose.
3
You will start this step by sketching out the shape of the nose and shade it in as well. Once that is complete make sure you draw out the cheek bones and then sketch out the shape of the melted wax that the skull is sitting on.
4
Sketch the haw of the skull which includes the teeth and tooth definition. Detail the pile of wax and then draw the flame that is burning on a semi-long wick.
5
Here is the last drawing step and all you have to do now is sketch out the blob that is sitting on the head which is of course a burning candle. When that is done you can start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Description: Here is a cool design that I conjured up when I was drawing a few days ago. I was watching a movie that was really creepy. All over the spooky house there was candles burning and what they were burning on was completely cool. Instead of candle holders, these wax objects were burning on the tops of skulls in every nook and cranny of the place. It looked so awesome like one of them houses that you think about when you read something from Shakespeare, wicked cool. The total time it took me to draw out this skull was only three hours and I managed to color it all in in less than two hours. The wax that is dripping down from the candle is blood red and it looks loose and lively too. I really enjoyed sketching this skull design out because it took me back to the medieval days when everything was raw and the nights was cold and dark. Anyways, I am going to show you “how to draw a burning skull candle” step by step. I will be back in a while with more drawing fun so stay tuned in because you never know what your going to get. Well I have to go for right now but I shall return. Be creative when you learn from this lesson, maybe add a rose or two who knows. Peace out amigos and adios!
