Hopelessly Devoted Drawing Lesson
1
Since these figures are pretty simple to draw, we won't use guidelines. Just start by drawing the head structures for each figure like you see here.
2
Next, draw in their large expressive eyes along with some blush marks on the cheeks and between the boy's eyes. You will then draw a bow in her hair or head.
3
Start with the girl first. Draw in her arm reaching out towards him, and then draw in the round shape of her body. Very simple figures to draw. When you are done with the girl you can draw in the boy's arms and the crease along the wrist area.
5
Next, finish off their bodies by completing the legs, then for a cute added touch, draw in a acrease line to make the butt on the girl. Of course you can leave the crack out if you want.
6
For the last drawing step, draw in the heart that is being held close to the chest along with the ruffle frilling around the heart. Add some minor detailing and you're done. Go ahead and erase whatever mistakes you might have made.

Description: Hi everyone. Today I will be uploading a lesson dedicated to Olivia Newton John. I know some of you will know who she is. She played Sandy in the movie "Grease" and had a bunch of music hits to follow. Of all the songs she sang, my favorite was "Hopelessly Devoted to You" and because of that I wanted to do an art depiction to help describe what I think of when I hear the song. So here, you will learn how to draw Hopelessly devoted, step by step. They are just two cute characters that only hold expression through their eyes and through body language. The boy is holding his heart and the girl is reaching out for it. She finally realizes that he is hopelessly devoted to her and to prove it, he is reaching in his chest to hand over his heart. This is a very cute, simple and sweet drawing concept that you yourself could draw for a friend, boyfriend, girlfriend or another loved one. I do hope you like it, I think it's adorable. I will be back with another tut so stay tuned in.
