Step 1.
Let us begin by making two guide shapes, one for the head and another for the body guide. Sketch in the facial guidelines next.

Step 2.
Up next, use the facial guidelines to draw out the big shaped eyeglasses. When you do this you will also draw and color in the thick part of the frame. Make a small crack in the lens and then draw the eyeballs and nose.

Step 3.
Ford has a very angles face which basically means the lining for his face is straight. You will draw the shape of his face and then draw in the old fart ears. I say old fart ears because old people have huge ears which is due from getting old. Draw i
n the sideburns and his smile, and don't forget the clef in his chin.

Step 4.
We will complete the hairstyle by drawing the top portion of his hair. It's a little messy because as you know Ford is not into grooming too much. Add the eyebrows and detailing inside his ear.

Description:
It's been a while since I received requests to make a tut on a character from Gravity Falls. Today I will be showing you how to draw Ford Pines, step by step. For those of you who don't know, Ford is the paranormal investigator that decided to come to Gravity Falls to look into the high level of paranormal activity taking place there. He looks a lot like Stanley because Stanley is his brother. He made his initial appearance in 'Tourist Trapped' which is the first episode to the first season of Gravity Falls. I had fun drawing Ford and I think you will too. So let's stop the chitchat and get busy. As Arnold Schwarzenegger would say "I'll be Back".
