Step 1.


I'm ready, are you? Good. Start with two shapes, one for the head and another for the body. Sketch in the facial guidelines and then the one guideline across the torso for the weapon.

Step 2.


Using the face guide begin drawing the actual structure of Tony's chibi face. The chin should be prominent because he is making a screaming expression. Next, draw in the hair or bangs and notice how the lining is jagged.

Step 3.


Okay, finish the shape of Tony's head which is also the hairstyle. When that is done you can draw the thick, bold eyebrows and then that incredible deep crease between the brows. Of course don't forget the long deep scar on his face and then draw one   

Step 4.


Okay, let us finish the face. To do that just draw the shapes of the eyes and then draw in the nose and very expressive mouth. Don't forget the teeth and the pupils.

Step 5.


The face is done so get started with the shoulders and arms. This is a chibi body so the limbs should be small. Draw in the small hands and remember his gun will be drawn in his hands in the next step so keep that in mind.

Step 6.


Let's get started with drawing Tony Montana's machine gun. Start with the barrel and then draw the collar or lapels from his suit jacket.

Step 7.


Almost done people. Draw the legs and his small feet or shoes, then that's it.

Step 8.


Finally, add detailing to his clothing by adding the pockets to his jacket, the creases on his clothes and then the butt or stock to his machine gun. Erase the mistakes along with any visible guides.

Step 9.


That's it, you are all done. Now go ahead and color in this iconic character from Scarface. I hope you enjoyed another chibi lesson by yours truly.

Description: I am very excited to be uploading this lesson next. It is by far one of my all time favorite chibi lessons and this time it's based on a character from one of my all time favorite films. Today, I will show you how to draw Tony Montana as a chibi, step by step. As you all know (or those of you who've seen Scarface) Tony Montana is played by Al Pacino. He does such an amazing job as a Cuban who comes to America and does everything in his power to live the American dream as well as obtain power along the way. This classic character will always be one of my top 10 favorites from a film and I had so much fun drawing him out in an action pose from a popular scene of the movie. Anyways, I do hope you enjoy this lesson it really is a lot of fun turning Tony Montana into a chibi.
