Charlie Morningstar, How to Draw

As always the first step is just the creation of the guidelines and shapes. So do that now.

Next, use those guides to draw out the shape of her face, neck and the curl on the side of the face.

You will now draw out the thick shapes of her eyes and eyebrows as well as more of her hair on the right side of the drawing.

Continue to work on the hairstyle as you see it done for you here.

Draw in her face completely, then draw the ponytail which is tied in two places. When that is done you can draw out the left shoulder, the lapel for her blazer, and then the arm.

Draw and color in the bow and button. Next, draw in more of her blazer and lapel as well as the other arm.

Finish Charlie off by drawing out the stripes in her hair and then the cuffs of her shirt as well as her hands. Color in her fingernails black, then erase the mistakes and guides.

Here you have a finished drawing of Charlie Morningstar. Now all you have to do is color her in.

My friend told me about this series, and I watched an episode an thought Charlie would make a great character.
