How to Draw the SAS Logo

1

To start with, draw a single vertical line and a box. (The box isn't absolutely necessary, but it helps to keep things sized better later on). The box should also have two "aerials" sticking out the top, which form the wings.

Next, draw in the sword. This is easier than you may think - a semi-circle, on top of a rectangle, on top of a shorter fatter rectangle, on top of a taller thinner rectangle with its bottom cut off: as seen in the picture. Leave a gap, then draw t

Now draw a really curvy line exactly as you see in the picture round the gap in the sword.Remember: the sword acts as a mirror, so try to get both sides looking exactly the same! Also, draw two bow-shaped lines on top of this to make the wings.

Finally, write "WHO DARES WINS" on the banner. Yes, it is their motto. Yes, it is a bit silly. DONE! Go over in pen, crayon, pencil or glitter - it doesn't matter! Just don't do it in bright pink or they WILL shoot you... ;D

Description: The SAS. Simply one of the best combat squads in the world. The SAS - Special Air Service - has served in many major British conflicts including WW2, the Falklands War, and recently the War in Iraq. Honestly, with all the tutorials on this site, I was amazed not to find this one (but maybe it is here and I just can't find it...) Did I mention this is my first tutorial?
