How to Draw Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon
1
Draw a vertical line down the middle of the page. Then draw one long horizontal line that is peaked at the left side you see here.
2
You will use the vertical line to draw the tip of the triangle as you see here. When your triangle is complete you can then move to the next step.
3
You will thicken the line from the left side and then draw another triangle shape inside of the larger one but this time draw it on it's side and shade it in. Make sure when you color in the triangle, the color fades toward the end.
4
Here you will be drawing out the seven lines that reflect from the triangle. When that is done you can move to your last drawing step.
5
You will thicken the entire triangle shape here and when you do make sure you haze up some of the lining in the inside. Erase the guidelines you no longer need to clean up your drawing.

Description: The album “Dark Side of the Moon” by Pink Floyd was one of the best records ever made and I think music buffs and fans will agree that their music is epic and almost sounds like a classical rock type of music. Pink Floyd’s music is so poetic and so powerful, I don’t think there is another band that will ever come out like them again. How about some stats on the album since it’s release on March 24, 1973, I think talking about the success of the record should be pretty cool right? Anyways Since it’s release, the album Dark Side of the Moon has sold thirty four million copies worldwide. Back then David Gilmour, Floyd's guitarist and vocalist, made a bet with their manager Steve O’Rourke that the record wouldn’t reach the top ten in the US. To Gilmour’s surprise the album hit number one for a week straight on the charts. There is some cool facts about some of the songs on the record as well. Like for the songs "Brain Damage" and "Speak to Me" it was the laughter of Peter Watts in the background of the two songs. Peter Watts is the road manager for the label. Another cool fact about Dark Side of the Moon is, it only took the band seven weeks to write out all the songs heard on the record. Another true fact about the album is that in 1990, Australians said that the songs on Dark Side is the best songs to be intimate with. There is like so many facts about the songs, and the interpretation that people have of the record. Out of everything that is or has been said about Dark Side of the Moon, one of my favorites is when they started saying back in 1990 or 92 that Pink Floyd wrote the songs on the record to be played while watching "The Wizard of Oz” because of all the similarities with the music and lyrics on the album and in the movie. It is suggested that you watch The Wizard of Oz while listening to the whole album of Dark Side of the Moon. Start the music right when the lion roars the third time. After you do this let me know if you think that Pink Floyd did this intentionally or just a coincidence. Of course Pink Floyd denies everything, but you never know. Anyways this is a pretty simple lesson for all you Floyd lovers out there. It is just a triangle and some lines. Have fun with this tutorial on “how to draw Pink Floyd Dark Side of the Moon cover step by step”. I have to leave again but I am sure you are joining me live right now. I will have more lessons to upload soon enough so keep your eyes peeled for them. Peace out and happy drawing.
