How to Draw The Mask
1
I know some of you guys must be excited to be tackling this lesson on The Mask. We will start by drawing the shape of the head, then sketch in the facial guidelines as well as the shoulder guides.
2
Using the guides you just made, sketch out the facial structure of The Mask's strong, chiseled face. The cheek indents should be defined, the jaw line is strong and square and there is a dimple in his chin too.
3
Use the facial guidelines to begin drawing in his strong facial features which are the prominent brow bones, then the strong looking nose and finally the angled line for his mouth.
4
Under the brow bones you will draw in the shapes of his eyes which are pretty small. Then sketch in the crinkle on the left side of the nose. You will also need to draw the large, deep frown lines around the ends of the mouth like you see here. Then
5
Okay, we will move forward with his face by sketching in the definition or detailing. Make the indents to the sides of his head and to the lower part of his forehead. Once that is done fill the eye sockets with eyeballs, then add some folds under eac
6
Once you have completed this step you will be all done with the drawing. All that you need to do now is draw the shoulders, dress shirt under his jacket, and then draw the tie. If there are mistakes you can erase them now.

Description: If you look back at all of Jim Carrey's movies which ones stick out the most to you? For me the top five films that I enjoyed him in are; Ace Ventura 1 & 2, Dumb and Dumber, The Cable Guy, Me Myself and Irene, and of course, The Mask. That is what this tutorial is going to be on, how to draw The Mask, step by step. I honestly don't know why I never thought to make this lesson before. I don't know if it's going to be a hit or miss, but one thing is certain The Mask is funny, the character is cool and Jim Carrey played the perfect "nice guy". This shouldn't be too complex to tackle, I had a lot of fun with this tut and I know you guys will too. Enjoy people and stick around to see what else will pop up next!
