How to Draw The Fault in Our Stars

You will begin by drawing the head guides for both the boy and girl. Sketch in the facial guidelines then proceed to step two.

Start with sketching out the face shape for Gus. Since you are drawing his head and face upside down from a top view, you will need to draw the chin, jawline, then cheeks first. Next, draw the nose shape and proceed to step three.

Here we will draw in Gus' eyes which are softly closed, then draw and color in the eyebrow. Add the mouth line, then some thick lashes.

We will focus on drawing Gus' hairstyle which is laying on the soft grass. The bangs should be lifted as they are tossed back from laying down.

Finish drawing his head and hairstyle. His hair should have some layers and waves.

Draw Gus' neck, then add the collar line and some of the shoulders.

The ruffled lining on the right side is actually his arm or loose fitting shirt sleeve. Add detailing to the sleeve, then move to step eight.

Now that Gus is all done being drawn in, we can start with sketching out Hazel. Draw the shape of her face like so, then add the mouth line.

Hazel has short hair so you will draw that in now, plus add the shape of her ear lobe.

Draw Gus' left sleeve, then you are done for this step.

Here we will work on getting Hazel's neck and shoulders sketched out. Once that is done draw in the collar for her blouse or open sweater.

You will now sketch in the detailing to her neck and shirt, then draw in the oxygen tubing. When that is done you can draw her eyebrow and eye with the long lashes then draw a small earring in her ear. Also draw an arm behind her head to the left. Er

Here they are in love and with each other. Hazel and Gus will be a couple to remember when the movie is no longer talked about. Don't forget, The Fault in Our Stars was first a book, so you might want to read the novel before watching the movie.

Description: Here is a tut for all you fans of the delightfully romantic movie 'The Fault in Our Stars'. Since the film has made so much noise, I wanted to do something different that I know will be loved by many girls and guys out there. This is a perfect lesson to draw for your girlfriend, as well as for a boyfriend. Here is my anime style drawing on "how to draw The Fault in Our Stars" couple, step by step. I used the image on the cover for the movie poster as a reference since its the image that is all over Google Images. This couple are perfectly cute together, and share a love that will last through death. I have not yet watched the film, but my sister said it's both happy and sad.
