How to Draw Ruby Gloom

Step 1.


Okay gang re you ready to start this lesson or what? Good, then start it by drawing a large circle for Ruby's head and then add the facial guidelines. Once that is done you can then add the body's line of position guidelines as seen here. The middle    

Step 2.


Now in this next simple step you will start drawing out the outline of her hair style with the bangs of her hair falling down the sides of her face and a small dash for her cute smile. Next draw out the shape of her small body which is pretty simple    

Step 3.


Now using the facial guidelines that you drew in step one draw out her perfect looking round eyes and add the lines for her lids. Next draw out the shape of her arms including her shoulder sleeve and hands. You will then draw out the remaining lines    

Step 4.


At this point her body is sort of shaped like a Powerpuff Girl. In this last drawing step you will start drawing out the crazy looking short haired hair style that Ruby wears with ease. Once you have done that give her a hint of fancy looking eyebrow   

Step 5.


Once your done your adorable little Ruby should come out looking like the one you see here. All you have to do now is color her in. You have just learned how to draw Ruby Gloom step by step Good Job!

Description: I hope you all have enjoyed my latest tutorial on my girly dragon that I did for a member. This next lesson is also a request and it is on how to draw Ruby Gloom step by step. Now some of you have never even heard of Ruby Gloom before. And to tell you the truth I haven’t either and wouldn’t have if it wasn’t for a DragoArt member. Ruby Gloom stared out being a character for a clothing line called “Mighty Fine” which is a company from the US. At first she appeared on stationary products like notebooks, pencils, backpacks, and other stuff that you would use for school or other stuff. Because of the success of her character image, a television show was created based on her and all of her gloomy friends. Ruby Gloom has a cat that she simply adores and loves. Her name is Doom Kitty and she is an all black cat that knows what goes on in her house almost all of the time. Ruby and Doom live in a town called Gloomville in a spooky old Victorian Mansion. Unlike most kids her age she likes what regular kids would fear, the dark and all the monsters imaginable that dwell in it. Ruby is considered to be a girl that is the happiest girl in the world and feels that everybody and everything should look on the bright side of life. In her mansion lives her spooky looking doom friends like; Iris who is a one eyed black headed girl, Skull Boy who’s boney head is filled with brains, Scardey Bat a very cute round looking black bat that is always on edge, Poe who is an odd raven that enjoys writing poetry, Mr. Buns a cute sock puppet that was created by Ruby, Misery another girl of the mansion that believes that bad luck was inherited by distant relatives, and finally the double headed kid Frank and Len Frank is blue and Len is green, separate heads, same body. Even though I had no idea who this character was I had a really fun time drawing her out and coloring her in. She has a cute Gothic look to her and I can guarantee that I will be watching the series soon. This tutorial will show you how to draw Ruby Gloom step by step. I will be back in a while with more cool lessons for you all, until then hang tough and draw on!
