Description: I have a special treat for you all today and I am very proud of the sketch I have drawn. Everybody knows that November is drawing near and on November 20th a very long awaited movie is due to be in theaters called "New Moon". I have been teaching myself "how to sketch draw" and I have to say that I have been improving a great deal. The first tutorial that I will be submitting today is on a character from the Twilight saga. Having said that tad bit of information, it is now time that I tell you that you will be getting a lesson on “how to draw Jasper Hale from Twilight step by step. Jasper is by far one of my favorite characters of the saga even though he never really says too much. Jasper was born with the name “Jasper Whitlock” in 1843. In his human life he was a soldier in the Confederate Army out of Texas. Unlike Esme and Edward, Jasper was turned into a vampire by a woman named Maria. Once he was completely turned into a vampire he later joined with his creator to form an army that he later fought in. For a while he was content with his new being and conquered the entire state of Texas as his own personal feeding ground with Maria. After some time he started to become disturbed with his violent and brutal lifestyle so he proceeded to live his life as a rouge. You would think that Jasper and Alice have been together for a long while right? Well that is not so. Jasper met Alice one day in a diner and immediately hit it off. Now we all know that Alice can see glimpse of the future right? Well when she met Jasper she already had a vision of eventually meeting Carlisle. So the two started their search for Carlisle Cullen. They eventually hook up with Carlisle and the two become part of his coven. The reason why Jasper has such a hard time being around humans is because he was so used to feeding on them with his old lifestyle. He was not yet accustomed to feeding on animals and becoming something different. Rosalie and Jasper pretended to be twins because they look a lot like each other. He adopts Rosalie’s last name and becomes Jasper Hale. In the book Jasper is said to be 6’3 with honey blonde colored hair. Like the rest of the Cullen clan his complexion is pretty and pale. Like Edward, Alice, Rosalie, and Emmett, his eyes are also a golden color. Now here is a but of information that you may or may not know. The reason why their eyes darken from a golden brown to a black color is because their thirst increases when they are craving blood. Only vegetarian vampires have golden colored eyes which is why James and the others had different shades. I think this tutorial depicts the look that Jasper constantly has fixed in his face. I hope you guys like this lesson on “how to draw Jasper Hale step by step”. This drawing took me four hours to complete and I think it came out great. I will be back with one more tutorial and this time I will be filling a request. Peace out folks and happy drawing!
