How to Draw Gyarados, Gyarados From Pokemon
1
Begin the first step by making a circle for the head, and a long snake like slithering line for the body.
2
Next, draw in the crown like shape or design on the forehead part of this Pokemon's head like so, then add some minor detailing. As you can see it looks like a shell of some sorts.
3
Now we will work on getting the face structure sketched out. For this lesson I drew the Pokemon in full action which means it has a very expressive look on the face. Draw out the open jaw, then move to step four.
4
Okay folks, now is the time that we will begin drawing out the fins on the sides of the face. When this part is done you will need to sketch out the long mustache like lines, then draw in the eyes, mouth, teeth, and tongue. Don't forget to color in t
5
Start drawing out the body in a layered manner. You can tackle the body almost the same way you draw a palm tree or pineapple tree. Don't forget to add the dorsal fin before moving to step six.
6
Almost done guys. Draw out the rest of the body. As you can see it looks a lot like an earth worm at this point without any of the fins. Make sure the body is drawn in layers, the draw the fin on it's back.
7
Sketch out the tail fin, then draw the remaining fins as well. You will need to add some detailing to the fins to make them look aquatic.
8
Erase your mistakes before you start adding the scales and such to the body. When you have erased the guidelines and mistakes, you can draw in the scales.

Description: The randomness that I go through can sometimes drive me crazy. Today I will be uploading another Pokemon species and it’s not only because I was asked to. I go through these stages where I feel like drawing all kinds of stuff. Here is "how to draw Gyarados", step by step. Wow, that name was a mouth full. Anyways for those that know, Gyarados is what you call a duel type Pokemon that is a dragon species. They resemble the old style oriental Chinese dragons, but they also look like some sort of sea serpents because of their fins, and serpent like bodies. Gyarados evolve from Magikarp at level twenty, and from their they sort of take on a whole new look. They are predominately blue in color, and with these species it is easy to tell the males from the females because the females have white colored barbels while the males have blue. One of the main reasons why the Gyarados are a popular Pokemon species is because they have a high attack stat. It's probably because they are a dragon type and most dragon types are high in that way. Anyways, this tutorial on drawing Gyarados shouldn't be too hard to tackle because after all they are shaped like snakes. Well, that's all. Have fun with this submission, I still have one more coming your way. Peace out and like always, enjoy!
