How to Draw Anime Garchomp

Let us begin by making three shapes to form the body of your anime Pokemon character.

Next, draw in the head shape, then move to step three where you will tackle more of the face and body.

Continue to work on anime Garchomp's face by drawing in the eye, marking on the snout, and then fill the mouth with teeth.

You will now complete the head by drawing the football shaped horns on each side of the head, then draw in the neck. Don't forget to add the stripes on the sides of the head lumps.

We will now work on the body. Start with drawing the shoulders, then draw the arms, some of the hands and then the torso.

Finish drawing the arms which also seem to be like bat wings. Add the forked horn like shapes, then add the marking on the tips of the fingers.

Now you can draw Garchomp's legs, then draw in the strong looking feet. Once that is done you can add the toe claws, then the small spikes on the thighs.

I'm pretty sure that Garchomp is partly based on a shark. This will explain the large shark like tail that you have to draw in next.

And lastly, add the markings on the belly and neck, then on the crotch area and ankles. When you are happy with the finished product, you can begin erasing the mistakes and guides.

Description: I have two more anime Pokemon characters going up today and that includes the one you see here. Let's learn "how to draw anime Garchomp", step by step. Now I'm not too familiar with this species because by the time all these new Pokemon started coming out, I was long gone with keeping track of the series. All I can do is teach you how to make the original Garchomp look like an anime version if it where to ever be developed as such. If you are a novice artist you might run into some bumps in the road, but if you keep at it you will be successful. I will meet you all back here in a bit with more drawing fun.
