Description: Hello DragoArt members and visitors! Today we will go on an adventure of learning how to draw. This time we will be drawing an awesome male centaur. It took me some time to figure out how I wanted his body position to be. I kept messing up on the horse body part and the top part. So I tried so many attempts on making this centaur guy. I tried the side pose of it but that was too ordinary. I wanted him to be unique with a body pose unlike most common centaur pictures I see online. I tried to make this marvelous creature one of a kind as possible. I also made him in an anime manga style just so it would be even cooler. As you can see I am really addicted to adding blood in my images. I just can’t stop adding these effects on my mystical and magical creatures. Once you start painting blood on your images, you’ll find out that its obsessing XD. Anyways, the Centaur is supposed to be charging a pack of shadow wolves in front of him. Obviously you cannot see the wolves in front because I didn’t draw them there. He is supposed to be surrounded by tons of shadow wolves. As you can see in the image, there’s blood running down one of the wolf’s mouth and teeth. It is also grinning. To me it looks like one of that shadow Pokemon that Team Rocket has. So anyways, the image background was inspired by a video game I played yesterday. It’s called Command and Conquer Tiberium Wars: Kane’s Wrath. That game is wicked fun by the way XD. I L.O.V.E the SCRINNN!!! So on with my biography about the image. It took me about five hours to complete. The line art itself was really hard because I’m not so good at drawing the anatomy of a horse or man =P. I was lucky to even have a nice pose for the Centaur. So I realized I have to practice more on the anatomy of other things instead of dragons all the time. I mean in all my other four-hundred tutorials, I’m surprised that I have done them pretty good. Some of them I admit are crappy. But nevertheless, I drew this image in Photoshop CS3 and used my awesomely big 6x12 Intuos3 tablet. Ha-ha I just noticed I have two items/programs that have 3s in them…lol XD. Well I hope you enjoy this tutorial. I was a pleasure to write out this text about the journey I had drawing and coloring my Centaur. I guess this is peace out =3. Enjoy!!
