How to Draw a Skull Tattoo

You will now sketch out the actual shape of the skull's head, then draw in the eye socket holes, nose and then the upper jawline.

Here you will sketch in the stretched tissue that is melting off the bone. Add definition to the temple of the head, then move to the next step.

Finish off the drawing by adding the rest of the holes for the skull's nasty design. Erase the mistakes and then you are all done.

Description: This is just a painting I did on a different type of skull design that I did when I was live a while ago. This lesson is "how to draw a skull tattoo" and as you know I have made a bunch of skull tattoo lessons in the past. I drew or digitally painted this concept and it took me about thirty minutes form start to finish. The steps took an additional twenty minutes and the reason why it took nearly as long as the drawing, is because I had to redraw the whole image, but none of the painted detailing was included. Anyways, like I always say; "when you draw skulls there is always something to add'. In this case I added some stretched flesh that is melting off the bone. Have fun and remember to use your imagination when recreating this skull tattoo. Tattoo art is meant to be tinkered with to warp the original into something new.
