How to Draw a Jack O Lantern
1
Draw a great big circle, and then add the guidelines for the jack o lanterns face. Lastly, add the stem line.
2
You will now begin drawing out the actual shape of the pumpkins texture or body. Notice the two notches, one at the base, and one above. This is going to add some good detailing.
3
Here is where you will begin drawing in the shapes of the jack o lanterns eyes, nose, and mouth. The common or most used design is full of points, and angles. You can choose to draw the face of your choice if you don't like this design concept.
4
For the last drawing step all you have to do is draw out the stem, and then add some dimensional lines inside of the eyes, nose and mouth. You are now ready to start erasing the lines and shapes you drew in step one.

Description: Trick or treat, these three words have been being spewed from the mouths of children for years, and years. This tutorial is going out to all of those who asked me to "draw a jack o lantern", step by step. Drawing pumpkins is fun because it’s almost like you are painting faces on a pumpkin at your house, or carving them out a week before Halloween arrives. Jack o lanterns are usually made using big, round pumpkins that have a nice hard texture. When carving out a jack o lantern you can either eyeball the design, or use a stencil that can be purchased with a carving kit, or you can actually make one yourself on a piece of paper, and then stick the self made stencil onto your pumpkin and start having fun carving. This tutorial is going to be just as fun as making a Halloween pumpkin for your house. One of the best things about carving pumpkins is digging out all the seeds and then baking them in the oven. Anyways, this tutorial is going to be good fun because you will draw a jack o lantern with ease. If you want to choose another version of one of these awesome faces, all you have to do is just click into the Halloween section and you will find what you’re looking for. I have to bounce out of here for now, but I shall return. Have fun guys, and remember to keep those requests coming in. Peace people!
