How to Draw a Green Dragon

1

Make a circle for the head, then add the long neck line like so.

2

Here you will sketch in the shape of the head structure using the guide you just made. The mouth lining should be angled as well.

3

Finish drawing the mouth and jaw bone, then you can move to step four.

4

Draw in the eye which should include the skin that surrounds the eye, as well as the nose, snout detailing, and some scales. Finish this step by adding a couple teeth from the bottom jaw which rest on the upper mandible.

5

After you draw out the eyes, nostril, and bottom row of teeth, you can add the top row of teeth along with the stripes on the horn and some rough scales on the jaw.

6

Draw the dragon's long curled neck, then draw the fin like frills behind the jaw.

7

Detail the neck and flared fins or frills like so, then you can proceed to step eight.

8

All that is left to do here is draw in some horn like frills on the top of the nose, another horn, and then more detailing.

9

Once all the mistakes are erased and the guides are gone, you can color in your new dragon drawing any shade you like.

Description: Red dragons, blue dragons, white dragons, and even brown dragons. Those are some of the colors that you can create when choosing a color scheme to finish off a dragon drawing. Today I will be showing you "how to draw a green dragon", but of course you can choose to use any shade you like. I did notice that certain colored dragons have different shaped bodies, characteristics, and abilities. Usually red dragons are fire breathing and I think it's because red is associated with fire. Anyways, this is a basic lesson, nothing hard. Anyone who tackles it should do well with creating this dragon. As always I have other lessons coming your way. Enjoy folks and peace out!
