How to Draw a Baby Fire Breathing Dragon

Start with a head and body guide, then sketch in the other guidelines for the neck, wing and tail.

Here you will draw the side profile of the baby dragon's face. Notice that the mouth is wide open because he is breathing fire. Add the skin tissue on the sides of the mouth as well.

We will draw out the dragon's eye. Make a slit for the pupil, then draw a small horn on the nose, and some sharp bone like frills along the side of the head. Don't forget to draw some scales on the face too.

Add the small dragon teeth and then draw the flame that this baby fire breathing dragon is spewing.

You will now draw the shape of the neck, then add the spikes down the back of the neck and add a shoulder.

All you have to do here is draw the marking on the front of the neck, then add some different shaped scales.

You will now draw more of the baby dragon's front feet and then add the toes or claws. Add the back leg and then draw in the back foot and add the scales too on the body.

Draw the back line and then draw the baby dragon's tail. Add more spikes and more scales.

We will work on the wings next. Draw the arm and four bones for the fingers.

Lastly, draw the rest of the skin tissue for the wings, then add detailing for texture. Erase the mistakes then you're done.

There you have it, a finished drawing of a baby fire breathing dragon. Color in your drawing and show people what you have just created.

Description: Okay guys, I don't know what I can tell you about this lesson, but it's basically on a baby version of a fire breathing dragon. I took the coloring style and concept for this baby dragon to look like the Dragoart dragon. The red hues and yellow skin tissue for the wings makes this dragon really pop out. Learning "how to draw a baby fire breathing dragon" should be fun and easy enough for all to enjoy. I will be back with one more tut before I make new ones for today.
